The Weight is Right

I went to a baby shower for a cousin (this time without Jonah) and of course, everyone wanted to know how big Jonah is now.  I offered a guess, but we hadn't done a weigh-in since his 6mo visit.  So when I returned home we did a weigh-in.  Daddy guessed 19lbs.  Grandmama 18lb. 2oz.  I guessed 18lb. 9oz.  Daddy thought this was a silly guess, since by Price is Right rules, either 19 1 or $1 would have been the best choices statistically.  Well, wouldn't you know: 18.6lb (our luggage scale only measures to the nearest 10th of a pound)!  I'm still waiting for my $100 bill from Bob for guessing on the nose.  Daddy's wallet didn't have anything over a $20.  Too bad I wasn't better at the shower game of identifying baby foods... we've been making our own, so honestly I don't even know which mix of flavors are available on the store shelves!
